i install the game on my laptop and works great. pretty nice game. this game needs a computer with dedicated video so be careful.
However, the Mac game selection is pretty poor and only offer a few great PC titles which most of the time are outdated compared to PC titles. I'm a long time fan of the Guitar Hero and Rock Band video game franchise on console. I also enjoy gaming on my computer. Hopefully this will change one day :-)Guitar Hero 3 World Tour is a fun game. It works great on my MacBook Pro 15' I highly recommend it at any age, makes for a fun evening with family and friends or at parties.
There are some issues with the software, if you try to install it on an older or not so powerful system it does not run well at all and be sure to download and install the updates for it as well. This game rocks, it is a classic that will go down in history. it is very addictive and the other great thing is it is a non violent game. As far as value it is worth it for the guitar controller alone, you can use the guitar controller with Frets on Fire on PC, Mac or Linux so it is a double value. I recommend this game for anyone who wants to rock.
My favorite songs are Rock you like a Hurricane and Black Magic woman ;-)I like Mac version of this game is more interesting because now I can play it everywhere I want. May be somebody know how to do it.
I play smoothly in my Mac book pro. The graphic is wonderful too.
Wonderful, wonderful.Since I trade my PS3 for a SLR camera, I didn't dream of playing this game again so I was so excited to see the Mac version. You can buy new song with the money you earn too.There only one thing I still don't understand, I can't download song.
Just install it and register for online account and here you go. I play it all night and unlock 40 songs.
But with all the songs you unlock, it is a lot to play.Try easy level first to unlock all songs. If I want, I can hook up with the bigger screen and now it just like playing with PS3.
Great product. This work GREAT on my MacBook Pro. Last week we were on an eight hour drive and I had my MacBook Pro on my lap playing the guitar while my wife drove. Lots of Fun. Ordered from Amazon and received in just a few days.
